TAF Industries becomes a founding member of the EU-Ukraine Drone Alliance.
The founding members were selected from approved companies with proven expertise and experience in the development, manufacturing, and expansion of defense drone and counter-drone ecosystems. In total, the new Alliance brings together 18 companies, including both Ukrainian manufacturers and manufacturers from EU member states.
The Alliance will be an industry-led initiative that will bring together system manufacturers and innovators, including startups and scaleups.
“For TAF Industries, joining the EU–Ukraine Drone Alliance is an opportunity not only to deepen cooperation with our European partners, but also to help shape its direction and contribute to the future of European defence. For us, being part of the Alliance is about making Ukraine’s battlefield experience the new benchmark for defence innovation. Stronger cooperation with our European partners shows that today they not only hear us, but also recognize the value of the experience Ukraine has gained and the seriousness of the security challenges ahead. We expect the Alliance to foster the establishment of shared manufacturing hubs in both Ukraine and the EU. This will also help mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities and secure long-term access to critical components.,” Volodymyr Zinovskyi, CEO TAF Industries, said.
TAF Industries is committed to actively supporting the Alliance through specific initiatives designed to deliver immediate and scalable added value to the European defence sector, acting within the framework of existing governing legislation.
The Alliance will build on the lessons learned from Ukraine and strengthen the security and defence of both the EU and Ukraine by supporting innovation in defence unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Its key objectives include developing comprehensive drone and counter-drone capabilities and creating opportunities to accelerate their development and deployment.
