ArduPilot Engineer

We are TAF Industries, a military‑tech company that manufactures and develops military
technologies ranging from FPV drones and loitering munitions to missiles and artificial
intelligence systems for aerial reconnaissance. We are looking for an ArduPilot Engineer.

You are eligible for this position if you:

• have 3+ years of hands‑on experience with ArduPilot, preferably in real missions or
  production‑ready systems;
• have proficiency in C++ and Python, and are familiar with MAVLink;
• have experience configuring autopilots (PID, failsafe, auto modes), firmware, and working
  with GCS software (Mission Planner / QGroundControl);
• are familiar with Git and CI/CD processes;
• have English proficiency from B1 to C1;
• understand the principles of drone operation: aerodynamics, electronics, power systems,
  sensors.

It would be great if you have:

• recommendations from previous places of work.

Your tasks will include:

• customizing and optimizing ArduPilot firmware for different platforms
  (quad/plane/rover/VTOL);
• integrating sensors, ESCs, GPS, telemetry, optical flow systems;
• setting up communication with ground control stations and testing MAVLink connectivity;
• performing HIL/SIL testing and writing scripts to automate checks;
• analyzing logs (via MAVExplorer / Flight Review), preparing changelogs, and maintaining
  documentation;
• participating in testing, field deployments, and battle‑tested tuning.
